Feels like Fall

Today went pretty well.  History class was boring as usual.  I can't focus in that class, what he writes on the board never coincides with what comes out of his mouth.  So, I feel like I'm not learning anything.  After history, I always go to the library for 2 hours and play computer games until math class.  Today, I found a game that was pretty entertaining and then I finished my math homework.  Math class was again boring, I feel really sorry for my teacher.  He's such a pushover, because he's such a geek.  He kind of fumbles and studders when he talks and has thick glasses.  He's very quiet and I'm reminded of the 40 year old virgin when I look at him.  There are these kids in my class that always talk and he told them once to be quiet and they immediately started talking again.  He's too afraid to tell them to stop talking or leave.  Poor guy.  My communication class is always pretty entertaining.  The kids in the class are really awesome and we all get along really well.  However, my teacher is very similar to my math teacher.  He has glasses and the same hair style.  He is also geeky and lets people walk all over him.

After class I went to babysit Cole and Harper again.  We had fun.  First we played outside and drew pictures with chalk.  I had to convince Cole several times that there wouldn't be a thunderstorm, tornado, or hurricane.  Ha ha.  He thought that because it was halfway cloudy and halfway sunny that it meant bad weather was on the way.  I told him that it was just cold and that it was Fall and that's how Fall feels.  Three seconds later the sun came out and he was like oh you're right.  He's cute.  Harper decided it was too cold and she wanted to go play inside.  We sat down to play some cards, they like 'Go Fish' and 'Crazy 8s.'  Of course, we have to tweek the rules a bit so that they can play.  But, they always have fun, so it's a good time.  Harper wanted to wear her skunk costume and then Cole wanted to wear his pirate costume.  They're goobers.  Harper had some goldfish and then we watched "Finding Nemo."  After the movie they wanted some teddy grahams and decided to take off their costumes.  Then, it was time for me to go home.

Now I'm just waiting for Patrick to get off work.  We're going to go to town to grab a pizza and rent "Forgetting Sarah Marshall."  We're going to take some more pictures of Delilah and just hangout.  It should be a good night. :)

Oops I did it again...

Hello to everyone... anyone?

This is just going to be a quick little update... hopefully to get me back in the blogging groove.  I'm taking classes at the Ivy Tech in Lafayette on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.  I'm babysitting Cole and Harper every Monday, so that helps with gas money.  Other than that I don't have a job and I really need one.  Unfortunately with this sucky economy, jobs are few and far between.

On Tuesdays and Thursdays, I just try to stay constructive at home... helping with laundry and dishes.  Mostly I just play computer games and watch television.  I would much rather be working at a job so that I can be saving some money to move out soon.  Living at home has it's advantages, I mean it's free room and board, but mostly it sucks.

Patrick and I are still doing really well.  He's working at the family feed mill.  He'll be getting his CDL pretty soon so that he can start hauling feed.  That will give him better hours and better pay, so we're both looking forward to that. :)  Last weekend, we found a puppy.  Well, she found us!! One day she just wandered into his yard and we've been taking care of her ever since.  She had a big gash on her back, so we've been nursing her back to health.  She's starting to get a lot more playful.  Oh, her name... for the first weekend we just fondly referred to her as Puppy.  But after some thought, Patrick came up with a better name.  He said that we should call her Delilah, like Sampson and Delilah from The Bible.  He said that when we get a big dog, we'll name him Sampson.  Ha ha.  So, yeah we've grown quite fond of her.  She's been through 2 collars already, won't wear her sweater, and is now in love with her new dog house and bed. :)  In the picture, she is sunning herself in the mulch.  She's a goober. :-P

So, all in all life is going pretty well lately.  I can't complain too much.  It would be fantastic if I was employed and engaged ;)  In due time...
