Well hello there...

Hi :)

Um, life is going pretty well for me. I'm working at the Taco Shoppe again this summer and so far so good. I may have to ask for a raise here soon, I've got lots of bills rolling in. :/ I got a new car, well new to me. It's a maroon 2001 Dodge Intrepid and now I have to pay my phone bill, car insurance, car payment and credit card bill. So, I need all of the hours and money that I can get. Patrick and I are doing pretty well, I just hope that he can find a better housing situation. It's frustrating for both of us to be living with our parents still. I know I've said this before, but I'm ready to be a big girl and to move on with my life. I have every Monday off so that Katie, Traci and I can layout and have some fun this summer. Patrick and I are taking a week long trip to Boston in August, so that should be a lot of fun. :) He wants to visit the Sam Adam's Brewery and we're going to see a Red Sox game. I'm very excited!!

Well, I think that's everything. I know that it's been awhile so I just wanted to update a bit. Sorry if it's really random and jumbled. Bye!!

Seriously. How much more rain can we possibly handle? I'm so excited for summer to be here. I can't wait to just lay around and do nothing all day. Well, I will be working at the Taco Shoppe again this summer, so hopefully I won't be doing too much laying around. I'm looking forward to 40+ hours a week, Lord knows I need the money.

So, what's been happening in my life you ask...? Well, I'm becoming more of a grown-up I would say. I got my first credit card and I've started my own phone plan. :) Look at me go. Now, the credit card is just a Best Buy credit card, so I can't get into too much trouble there. I used it to get myself a new laptop which I desperately needed. :/ Nice right? I'm pretty proud of it. And I told myself when I got my next big check from subbing I was going to cut the apron strings and break away from my Daddy's cell phone plan. Well, my check on Friday was $352. Not bad for two weeks of glorified babysitting. So, after lunch Katie and I were off to the phone store. It took awhile and Dad had to come in and relinquish the line to me. However, we had some great success and I chose this little baby. :) Again I am proud. Now if I can just get myself a new car and get out of my parent's house I would be all set :-P One step at a time.

Hmm... well Patrick and I have been going to church every Sunday since January so that's pretty cool. I had been looking for more ways to get involved and wouldn't you know it, God answered me. 3 weeks ago I was approached by Mr. Bacon and he said that there was a Monday night Bible Study for 20-somethings and Patrick and I should go. So I have been. It starts at 7 so Patrick can't come until later and for the past two Sundays he has been out of town. I was also asked to start helping with the youth group this summer. I helped out at the Soup for the Soul event at the church this afternoon. And I have signed Patrick and I up to be ushers in September and I always help usher at the drive-in. So, I'm feeling pretty good about all of that.

As I said Patrick has been gone for two weeks, well it will be 12 days on Friday. He has been down at Camp Atterbury doing some more training. It's Air Assault school. He's learning a bunch of stuff and he says that they are running them around like crazy. He goes to bed every night very sore and tired. They get up early and go on marches, run, do PT, etc. Poor guy :( He's doing really well though!! :) :) He's passing all of the tests with flying colors!! I'm so proud of him!!

Um, I think that's all of the exciting stuff that's happening. So, yeah you out there just keep checking back... Love ya!!

This week has been a roller coaster ride...

Monday wasn't too bad.  Mostly boring.  I did the usual wake up, watch TLC, find something to eat, then continue to watch TLC kind of thing.  I did however add a fun twist to my day.  I took a shower and went to the furniture store to meet Katie.  We ate some lunch and talked with Laura for awhile.  Afterwards, we went to Wal*Mart to do some grocery shopping.  We then parted ways and I went back to my routine of watching TLC and waiting for Patrick to get off work.  However, the night guy at the mill called in sick, so Patrick had to stay late.  He didn't end up leaving work until 2 a.m.  Poor guy.  Boo. :(  So, I did my homework and went to bed.

Tuesday was a lot different.  I was sleeping at 6:30 a.m., like any normal person, and the phone started ringing.  I was very groggy so it took a minute for me to realize that the phone was actually ringing.  When I answered it the person asked for me and my Mom responded, "Hold on."  I stated that I was on the phone.  It was the secretary from the high school asking if I would like to substitute that day.  I gladly accepted, anything to get out of the house!! :)  I got to substitute teach for a kindergarten class!! They were adorable, well most of them.  The first hour was a little rough because the teacher couldn't get her lesson plan to go through on her e-mail.  After an hour it finally went through and I was able to salvage the day.  So, it went pretty well for being a last minute call.  After school I came home and took a nap.  When I woke up I watched some TLC and waited for Patrick to get off work.  Again the night guy was sick, but this time Patrick only had to stay until 9 p.m.  While I was waiting for Patrick the phone rang.  It was the high school secretary again.  She had 5 more subbing jobs available for me, SWEET!!  After Patrick showered he drove to my house and then we went to town to do some shopping.  No, not the fun shopping. :/  We got some groceries for the meal that we were going to cook on Wednesday and some toiletries.  We then got some dinner at Wendy's.  When we got back to my house we just watched some t.v. and cuddled, aw. :)  He left around 11:30 because he had to get up around 7 the next morning to go back to work.

On Wednesday I called Patrick to make sure that he was up and then I went back to sleep for 2 hours.  I only had to do a half day of subbing so when I woke up I put a load of laundry in, ate lunch, switched the laundry, took a shower, and then headed to go sub for an elementary school music class.  It wasn't bad at all.  The teacher had a very organized lesson plan and all the materials were right there on his desk.  When I left the building I had two voicemails, one from my cousin and one from Mom.  Mom's was about brake pads for the van, very boring stuff.  My cousin wanted to know if she could borrow Patrick's camera charger.  So, I called her back and we arranged to meet at 7:30 that evening.  After school I came home and took another nap, I love naps! :)  When I woke up I started to make dinner.  I also made some noodles that go very well with the sauce.  When I had all of the prep work done I went to meet my cousin.  On my way home Patrick told me that he was on his way over.  When he walked in the door he had to wait a few minutes for the kabobs to get done.  ( I decided to broil them in the oven instead, because standing outside grilling didn't really appeal to me.)  It was tough for Patrick to wait because he was starving, he worked a 12 1/2 hour day.  The meal was delicious.  We watched our show with Mom, Numbers.  Afterwards we cuddle some more, aw. :)  Then, we said our goodbyes around 11:30 again.

Today, I woke up at 7 and called Patrick to make sure that he was up too.  Today I had to substitute for the same teacher as yesterday, but it was all day.  He starts his day out at the middle school in the band room.  At 9:30 a.m. I got to leave and went to the elementary school for the rest of the day.  Band wasn't too bad.  The kids were overall pretty well behaved, for middle schoolers.  Music class was pretty fun.  Elementary school kids are way better than middle schoolers.  I'm starting to get used to working at the elementary school.  Kids and teachers will wave to me and say hi because they know me, it's pretty cool. :)  After school today I came home and.... NOPE I didn't nap.  I actually started some laundry, did the dishes, and took out the recycling.  I also decided that I'm probably going to kill my brother tonight.  Last night he was acting like a total jerk.  He's a big bad senior this year, so he's very cocky and annoying.  He was saying things like, "When I'm 21 I won't be living here anymore" and "Why don't you get a job?"  He was just being downright rude to everyone in the house.  I can't wait for karma to come back around and bite him in the a$$.  Today when I got home I found him lounging on the couch.  Then when I started doing the dishes he came into the kitchen, I thought maybe he'd offer to help.  Nope.  Instead he decides to dirty some more dishes.  I mean, what does he care?  He hasn't done a load of laundry or dishes for a month now.  Then, he opens some mail that's addressed to him.  In one envelope he sees that his CD has matured and will be available for him to cash in the middle of February. So, he starts bragging about how much it is and how he'll go by himself a new laptop.  In the other envelope he finds a refund check from Ivy Tech.  Now, my Mom paid for our school and books this semester, so that money is actually hers. He wasn't going to tell her about it, he was just going to take it to the bank and cash it for himself.  I called Mom to let her know that she had a check waiting for her at home.  He proceeded to call me a tattle tail and said that if I would have kept my mouth shut I could have gotten half of it.  So, between him being a lazy good-for-nothing piece of crap and his cockiness I've about had it with him.  If I had the money and a steady job, I would move out in a heartbeat.

So this is where I'm at in life.  Now I think I'm going to go fold some laundry and do a little bit of homework.  Peace out, girl scout.

Not that anyone actually reads this... but I apologize for my LONG LONG absence.

This summer has just flown by!! I started the summer out with high hopes and a good outlook.  And boy was I wrong...  At the beginning of the summer, I was working anywhere from 45-60 hours a week.  I hardly got to see Patrick and I never saw any of my friends.  I was always so tired and my room was a constant mess.  The pay was nice, but it wasn't worth my lack of sanity.

Since then, I have been working a mere 35 hours a week and I get to see Patrick every night for a couple of hours.  On my days off I hangout with a couple of girls at whatever pool we can get our hands on.  It really pays to know lots of people with pools.  So, we would just hop from pool to pool every week.  And on days that I don't work until 4, I either try to get some stuff done around the house or hangout with friends.  On days that I work until 4... I spend the evening with Katie, my bff and then when Patrick gets off work we all hangout.  So, really the summer is looking up!! :)

Right now, Patrick is back at Ft. Knox.  He has been there since last Saturday and will be there until August 9th.  It really sucks not being able to see him.  We do get to talk occasionally through text-messaging, but that's just not the same.  After I get off work at 4 on August 10th, Katie, Bobby, Patrick and I are driving down to Florida for a week. And the 4 of us couldn't be more excited!! We don't have a lot planned, we're all just so tired of working all the time and we would really like to do something exciting!!  We'll have a free place to stay, so we just have to pay for food and gas.

I have done a lot of shopping this summer.  So, I have lots of cute new clothes, but no money... whoops. Oh well.  I just love summer and the sun and water and free time!! And I'm 21 now... so life is just getting good. :)

However, I don't know what I'm going to do with my life. :(  I need to get a job and I need to take classes.  I don't want to live at home anymore, but I don't know where I should live.  I don't know if I want to move to Lafayette and take classes at Ivy Tech and then try to find a job there.  That would mean that I wouldn't get to see Patrick that much. And then, living on my own and paying bills would mean that I wouldn't have any money.  Or I could live at home and drive to Michigan City to take classes.  But then where would I work?  So really I'm asking you my avid blog reader to plan out my life for me... please and thank you!! :)

SUMMER!!!

Only 6 more days until I am on my way back to Monticello.  And I can't wait!! :)

I'm so ready to be home.  I'm sick of school and assignments.  I miss just hanging out.  I miss warm days and being outside.  I miss my family.  I miss my friends.  I miss Patrick.

Yesterday I did a few loads of laundry and tried to clean my room a bit.  And then, Patrick came to visit!!  We went to the King Buffet for dinner. And then came back home to watch some tv and cuddle.  He left today for a camping trip with the boys.  So, all day today I have been washing some laundry and folding it.  I ran a load of dishes and washed the living room blankets and the dining room placemats.  I am hoping to start packing and cleaning a bit.  I might even vacuum. :)  I am getting a lot done today.  And I will probably get a lot more done tomorrow, because I'm home alone this weekend.  On one hand, I'm kind of sad... I like people!!  On the other hand... I think it will be good for me.

Ok, well time to go switch my laundry and start some homework.

The Weekend

Well... again long time no blog... I don't know why I have a hard time updating...

Friday morning I didn't do much of anything.  I did some laundry and then just kind of hung out and watched some tv.  I didn't work Friday night which was really weird, I didn't know what to do with myself.  Ashley and I went to Skyline for dinner and then I dropped her off so that I could shower and put some laundry away.  I ended up talking to Patrick, so I didn't have time to put my laundry away... whoops.  Oh well.  I went to pick Ashley back up so that we could go see some coworkers at work.  I dropped Luke off at his house so that he could shower and then he walked to my house.  Then; Ashley, Luke, and I went to meet Erika at her dorm.  We were all meeting up to go to a comedy night.  We got there fairly early, so we had some really good seats.  It was really good too.  It's a group of theatre kids that got together and formed an improv group called Reflex.  After the comedy night we went back to my house to play some nerts and have a couple drinks.  Laura was home from work by then, so she joined us.  It was a lot of fun.  After I drove Ashley home I came back and went to bed.  Erika and Luke were stubborn and walked home.

Saturday morning I woke up and tried to clean my room up a little bit.  I put my laundry away and had some breakfast.  Then, I called Patrick to see where he was... he was just driving into Muncie.  So, a few minutes later he was at my door!! :)  VERY HAPPY TO SEE HIM!!  I told Aimee that I would come visit her at the McKinley Mile and see the babies!!  They are ADORABLE!!  Too bad Miss Lilly felt like she needed a nap.  So, Ashley and I only got to take our picture with Addy.  There's a thing in the SVS office... Ashley and I say that we're twins and Aimee is our mom.  Then, Aimee had Lilly and Addy... twins... so now the 4 of us are siblings.  So, it would have been nice to get a sibling shot.  Oh well.  After Patrick and I left the McKinley mile, we got some lunch at the A&W/Silver's.  And he let me play with his new phone and we took some pictures.  Then, we went back to my house to meet Laura and Brian to play some cornhole.  Patrick invited his friend Jeremy to come over.  So the 5 of us just hungout all afternoon in our front yard.  It was the first Spring-like day, so we were taking full advantage of it.  Luke finally got his butt out of bed and came over at 3:45.  So we played some cornhole until like 4:30 and then I had to get ready for work.  Luke and I worked until 10. After work we were going to hangout, but decided to take a break.  The group (Me, Lindsey, Laura, Luke, Brian) had been hanging out for like 3 weeks straight.  So, I took a shower and Patrick and I went to bed to cuddle and watch some tv.

Sunday morning Patrick and I woke up and had some breakfast.  We watched some tv and then he packed up his stuff.  He had to go meet Josh and Jessica for lunch.  I had to be at work at 12.  So, after he picked his computer up from his apartment he came to work to tell me goodbye.  I wasn't busy, so I went to give him a hug and a kiss.  Then, I worked until 8.  I got what little prep work there was done before Luke came in at 5.  So, I was basically bored at work from 5-7.  At 7 they finally sent me home since we were so slow.  We think it's because the weather was so nice, so people were grilling and didn't want to eat at a restaurant.  I called Laura and she was at Robbie's and they invited me over to the cookout that they were having.  We played cornhole until like 9:30.  Then we took Brian to his group meeting and picked Ashley up.  We decided to go to Luke's to play wii.  Brian came over after his group meeting.  We were there until like 12:30.  We dropped Brian and Ashley off at their respective homes and went to bed.

It was a great weekend!! Monday morning I was definitely still on a high from the great weather, great friends, and seeing Patrick!!

I miss him!! :(

This is my lover... Patrick Lane!! :)  Isn't he handsome!?  We are just so gosh darn cute!!

Yeah, I miss him a lot.  Sometimes I've had a rough day and I just need him to give me a great big hug and tell me everything will be ok.  I love when he plays with my hair and kisses my forehead.  He always tells me how beautiful I am... even when it isn't true.  I can be wearing my sweatpants and my ponytail is a mess and I still have eye boogers, but he still calls me beautiful! :D  Sometimes I say dumb things and he laughs at me and tries to humor me by answering the question or commenting on it.  Most times he just laughs and either tells me that I'm precious or tells me that I'm goofy... I like it either way.  I love holding his hand and playing with his fingers.  I love laying on his chest and feeling his heart race because he's excited that I'm there.  I love talking about the future with him!!  We have so many exciting things planned.  Like taking a road trip to Boston to look at houses and going to see a Red Sox game.  Or driving to NY to be in Times Square for New Years.  Backpacking in Europe.  Right now we are so young and in love and I wouldn't have it any other way!!

I miss you SOOOOO much Patrick!!

Looking up...

This weekend was kind of rough on me... :(

All week Patrick kept saying that we were going to meet in Kokomo on Saturday.  We would either have lunch or dinner, depending on my work schedule, and then walk around the mall.  So, that was the light at the end of the tunnel for me.  It kept me motivated to finish the week.  Then, Friday night he informs me that Brent, his brother, told him that he has to work on Saturday.  No biggie... he will grind some feed and then we'll meet for a late lunch.  NOPE.  Patrick had to work until 6:30. :(  So, I didn't get to see him at all.  I was seriously depressed.  It didn't help that I had to work ALL WEEKEND!  Friday and Saturday 5-10 and Sunday 12-8.  And then, when I tried talking to Patrick Saturday night, he was at a bar where there no reception.  So, that made me even more sad.  It was just a horrible weekend and I was a complete wreck.  But, Luke talked to me and said some kind words and made me think about things.  So, Patrick and I talked it out and now we're good.  For awhile I was getting pretty frustrated with the whole not talking to him a lot and not seeing him thing.

Monday was actually a good day for me.  I slept in.  Didn't do a whole lot before class. Went to class and got out an hour early.  After I came home and talked to Laura for a bit.  Lindsey and I went to King Buffet.  When Luke and Laura got home from the gym we all played nerts.  It was a rough game night for me, but it was still a lot of fun.  We played for like 3 hours... yeah we're that lame. :-P  Then, for some reason I stayed up until 2 am.  Not very smart.

This morning I woke up at like 8:30 for my 9 am class.  So, needless to say... I was looking pretty rough.  I threw on my Red Sox hat and the clothes that I changed into last night after class.  My eyes were still kind of "swollen shut."  Like when you have been awake for only like 20 minutes... Man, I was looking sexy!! Ha ha.  Class went pretty well.  I need to do some stuff to catch up in there, but no biggie.  After class I tried to come back home and fall asleep, but it just wasn't happening.  So, I talked to Patrick for a bit and just watched some tv until I had to go to work.  I worked from 4-9.  Work wasn't too bad.  The jokes got a little out of control... some feelings were hurt.  I think we're all good now... but wow.  After work I came home and showered.  Then Luke, Erika, and Brian came over to play nerts.  So the six of us, Lindsey and Jeff, played nerts for like another 3 hours.  We may need a new hobby... nah!!

And that's where we are now... Time for bed!!

Wasn't me...

First of all...

That last post wasn't me.  Lindsey was using my computer and got on my blog.  I don't feel like deleting it though.  So, whatever.  Ha ha.

Umm... What to talk about?  Well, I've been feeling kind of mopey lately.  I think I'm just ready for spring to be here, enough with the teasing.  One day it's like 65 degrees and sunny then the next day... it looks like today.  Like 40 degrees and rainy.  I'm also probably mopey because I'm so over school.  I just want summer break to be here.  I've got this summer break itch... you know where you just want to give up on school and all you can think about is going home or being out on the boat.  Yeah and it probably doesn't help that I miss Patrick like crazy.  I just want to go home, like forever.  I'm so done with Muncie.  I just want to go home and see my family and friends and Patrick.

This next 6 weeks is going to be the longest 6 weeks of my life.  I just have to remember to keep my nose in the books and keep chugging along.  Because I know me... once I get mopey and I'm no longer motivated, it's over.  So please try and help me keep my chin up.  Thanks.

Hello there.

Again, long time no blog....

Sorry, I've been on Spring Break and didn't feel like boring you all with the details.  It was really a very boring break.  I pretty much laid around home all day.  Occasionally I played some computer games, watched some tv and 3 days out of the week I met people in town for lunch.  Most of my nights were spent with Patrick, duh.  Although, Wednesday night I had a game night with the Moore's and Thursday night Patrick and I hung out with Kevin and Michelle.  Patrick left for drill Friday morning, so Friday night I went to the musical with Mom.  It was West Side Story.  The TLHS kids performed it pretty well.  I enjoyed it.  After the play, I went and stayed with Katie and Bobby.  We watched Dan in Real Life.  Not bad.  But, I had to get up at 5 the next morning to babysit the Cole and Harper.  I babysat until 2:30.  I was very hungry afterwards so I ordered a pizza when I was halfway home and picked it up before going back to my house.  Then, I took a nap.  That night Katie and Bobby and some of their friends went to Indy to P.F. Chang's and then The Melting Pot, I tagged along.  It was a pretty nice time.  Sunday morning I got up pretty early to pack and head back to Muncie.  Well, I actually tried to make it to the armory on time to meet Patrick for lunch, but I got a little lost.  So, by the time I got there he had already eaten and I didn't get to talk to him :(  And then I found a receipt for chew in his backpack, so I got mad and left.  I told him not to come to Muncie because I was mad at him.  So, I didn't get to talk to him or see him. :(  Bummer!!  But, we're good now.

He's supposed to be quit chewing.  But, he's struggling.  So, any suggestions would be very helpful.

And since I've been back to school, I've done nothing.  My class got canceled Monday night, because the professor was sick.  And our class Tuesday was canceled, because our teacher went to some conference.  I worked tonight.  It was nice to see my co-workers.  I missed them!!

And now, I'm going to call the boyfriend.  I miss him sooooo much!!  He's seriously the love of my life and this sucks being apart.  Sorry if that grossed you out or whatever.

Long Time

I know, again it's been awhile...

Well, not too much has been going on.. so I didn't want to sit and write and bore you all.  Again like maybe 1 person reads this... so whatever.

Hmm... let's see.  Patrick went home on Monday.  He withdrew from his classes and is now home working for his dad at the mill.  He is glad to be back home.  He hated school and needs the money.  He is living with his brother Brent, so I am sure that they are having a blast.  I miss him a lot though.  It's really different going from seeing him everyday to barely talking to him.  He says that it will be ok, because we didn't see each other for 4 months while he was at basic.  I told him that it's different now.  Because back then I had only know him for 2 months, so it wasn't that big of a deal.  And now I have known him for over a year and have grown quite fond of him.  Boys... they are so dumb.  Girls get sappy and emotional.

But, now that he is back home and happy again... I can get back to concentrating on my life.  I put my life on hold for him and my classes were reflecting it.  I know, that's bad, but that's who I am.  I care about other people, so much so that sometimes I forget about me.  So, now I am back to normal and trying to concentrate on my life again.

This weekend is the start of Spring Break!! I'm so excited!!  After class gets out tonight, I'm on break!!  But... instead of going home ASAP, like I normally would... I have to wait :(  Patrick and his Brent are coming here like Saturday morning/afternoon to get the rest of his stuff.  And whatever won't fit in Brent's truck is going in my van.  So, after we are all loaded up I will be going home!! :D  And my break will be spent doing a lot of nothing.  Well, I need to get the Purdue ball rolling.  I have the application filled out and I'm sending it today.  I will be visiting people and I am babysitting on the 15th.  Other than that, I am free as a bird.

Tomorrow will be a productive day, I hope.  I need to do laundry and clean my room.  Maybe do some homework and get my school papers organized.  Then, I will just be twiddling my thumbs until Saturday morning.

Well, g2g.  Class starts in 35 minutes.  

Awesome Weekend

This weekend was pretty great, but it went by so quickly... :(

Even though we (Patrick and I) were basically driving home in a blizzard on Friday, we still kept chugging along and met Kevin and Michelle at Nine Irish Brothers for some dinner.  It wasn't too bad.  I had a half order of Shepard 's Pie, Michelle had a half order of fish and chips, Kevin had a cheeseburger, and Patrick had... I forget. Oops.  After dinner we went back to their apartment and just hungout while we waited for a phone call from Sandi.  Sandi finally called us and then Patrick and I drove to Pepe's to meet her and Jonathan for drinks.  Jonathan's friends Travis and Amy met us there too.  So, after everyone had a couple of margaritas (Except me) we went back to Amy's apartment so that she could change to go out to the bar.  Of course Patrick and I just decided to go home; since it was snowing, we were tired, and of course since I'm only 20.

Saturday morning I woke up and had an omelet making competition with Mom.  Frankie was the judge, but he was a terrible one.  He always says that everyone is a terrible cook and that he could do so much better.  I think I totally won.  My grandma came over to visit and I put some more minutes on her tracfone.  After her visit Mom and I had to rush to town, because she had a hair appointment and I had to get my eyebrows waxed.  Then, we went to the laundry mat so that I could get my laundry done.  Grandma and Patrick met us there, they drove separately.  Patrick and I left to get everyone some lunch... yummy Taco Bell!! :)  We ate at the laundry mat.  After my laundry was all folded and put in Mom's car, Patrick and I went to visit Sheila.  We chit-chatted and caught up for awhile.  Then, we had to go home and get ready for Brent's birthday dinner.  Dinner was at Solly's.  It was nice.  After dinner, we went back to Brent's to play some beer pong.  Jonathan's friends Brad, Travis and Amy came over too.  Somehow we all started to arm wrestle and then it turned into wrestling matches on the living room floor.  It was pretty intense, I'm sore.  Sandi kicked my butt a couple of times, but I got her on the last round.  The first two rounds, I was in my sweater so I was really hot. Plus, I was laughing really hard, because I couldn't take her seriously.  The third round, we wrestled in our tank tops so it was a little more fair.  After all of that, we went to The Sandbar.  We did karaoke and just had a good time.  Well, until the lady came up to me and asked if I was 21.  When I told her no, she was like well don't come in here again.  "Since you're not drinking I will let it go this time."  I think it's because if I would have had to leave, everyone else would have left too and all of her money would have gone out the door.  Grr... I wasn't doing anything.  What a dummy.  At 3:45 they finally kicked everyone out.  At 5:30 we finally went to bed.

We got up at 11:15 on Sunday morning.  At 11:30 we left Brent's house and Patrick went home to take a shower and then he took me home so that I could take a shower.  We showed up for lunch at his Mom's at 1, it started at 12:30, whoops.  Lunch was really good.  Then, we went back to Patrick's house so that he could talk to his dad.  He told him that he wouldn't be going back to school and that he wanted to come home and work on the farm.  The conversation went better than I expected, so that's good.  After that, we packed up the car and drove back to school.  We had Arby's for dinner and just laid around watching tv until about 11:15 and by then I was exhausted and just wanted to go to bed.

And today is our one year anniversary!! :D  We haven't done anything exciting though.  Too poor.  We had Taco Bell for lunch.  Hooray.  And I'm probably not going to see him tonight either.  He's playing video games with a friend.  And I'm just really sore from wrestling and I'm tired.  So, instead of waiting around, I'm just going to go to bed.

Hmmm... long time, no blog

Okie doke... Let's see here. I apologize for being gone so long... I realize that I'm talking to like one person when I say that, but oh well.

Valentine's Day was alright. I wasn't expecting much because Patrick and I are both poor college students, so no big deal. I had class from 4-8:30 and then I went to Wal*Mart to get Patrick a card and a bag to put his presents in. At 9:15 I finally got to see him. So, we exchanged cards and stuff. I bought him some new underwear and some gum. And he made me a card. It was cute and reminded me of our first date. Then, I made his favorite kind of hamburger helper and we watched some tv. We took showers and went to bed, exciting right?

Friday was pretty boring. I worked from 2-10 and we were BUSY!! My coworkers and I were considering a mass-suicide attempt if that tells you anything. J/k.

Saturday wasn't too terrible. At 2 p.m. Laura, Brian, and I went to look at a potential house for next year. It was really nice. It has 3 decent sized bedrooms and a closet-sized bedroom, 2 car garage, 2 bathrooms, nice open kitchen, etc. After the house tour, Laura and I came back home to get me all dolled-up for Patrick's Red and White Formal. It was for his National Guard Troop. Social Hour started at 5, so we left Muncie at 3. One of the Sergeants was nice enough to let us change in his hotel room, so we didn't have to wear our nice clothes all the way there. Don't we look nice though!!

We were really bored, there was a lot of business stuff and formal stuff at the beginning. Then, they finally served dinner which wasn't too bad. Then, more business stuff. After all of the formal stuff was over, we decided to leave. We didn't stay for the dancing or door prizes, oh well.

Sunday, I caught up on my sleep before heading to work at 4. After work I went to Patrick's, took a shower and went to sleep. And today, I haven't done a darn thing. Well, Patrick and I went home so that he could see the Dr. He's fine. Well, hopefully he will be back to normal in a few weeks. :)

One year ago today, I met the love of my life... Patrick Lane. :)

It has been the best year and I can honestly say that we will be together forever. He is absolutely wonderful and makes me so happy!! I can't wait for many, many more years with him. Again, I could go on and on, but I will spare you. :)

The Weekend

Let's see... how did this weekend go?  It was a pretty decent weekend. :)

I don't have classes on Fridays, so Friday was pretty typical... just sitting around doing lots of nothing.  I hungout with Patrick until 10 or so and then came back home to do some laundry.  I washed his bedding but neglected my own laundry.  Instead I took a nap and watched some tv.  Take Home Chef was on at 4 and 4:30, so I HAD to watch that before I picked Luke up for work.  Curtis Stone is very sexy and I love him. :)

So, I worked from 5-10 on Friday night.  It was a great night at work.  There were a lot of people there and everyone was in a good mood.  We were really busy, so eventually everyone had to buckle down and get to work.  Oh, I work at Bella Avanti's... it's a little Italian restaurant. Anyway, even though we got really busy everyone was still in a really good mood, well until our boss showed up.  She always brings us down.  She tries to make us feel dumb.  I always explain it like this... she tells us she wants us to do something but doesn't tell us directions or how to get the job done.  So, we start to do it our own way and then halfway through she comes back and tells us we're doing it wrong.  I just wish she would tell us how she wants it done the first time.  However, I think even then she would still make us feel stupid.  And when we do know how to do something, she always asks us, are you sure?  And checks up on us and double checks our work.  It's a great day when we do something right and get to say, "Yeah we know." or "Yes we did that."  Because she walks away, with this sad look on her face... similar to that of a beaten puppy.

After work a bunch of us went over to Neica's house to play some beer pong.  That was a lot of fun, but there were way more people there than normal.  I left at 10 til 1, because I told Patrick I would come over before 1.  I had to get to sleep anyway because I had to be up at 7 the next morning to do a charity walk.

Saturday I woke up at 7 and got dressed to walk in 35* weather.  My friend Katie picked me up at 7:30 and we went to the Student Center to wait for 4 more girls.  Only 1 girl showed up.  So, the 3 of us went to the Convention Center to get registered.  Last year at this same walk there were only 300 people. This year, there were around 700 people, it was AWESOME!!  This walk is a mile walk and all the money raised goes to a men's shelter called The Muncie Mission.  Last year's proceeds went to getting the men new beds and this year they are getting new kitchen equipment for the new shelter that is being built.  We got done with  the walk at 9:50 and I went back to bed. :)  Patrick let me sleep until about noon.  Then, we watched some tv and I left to get ready for work.  I hungout with Laura until 2:30 and then went to pick Neica up for work.  I worked from 3-10 and again we were BUSY!!  Business has been really good lately and that is great news!  After work I went to Patrick's and watched him and his friend Jeremy take turns playing Call of Duty 4 on his X-BOX 360.  Boys... :P  Finally at 1:30 I was exhausted and I took a shower and went to bed.

This morning we went to Taco Bell for lunch and here I am now...

College Life

Today was a pretty good day. :)

I didn't wake up until 10:30 and then Patrick and I just laid around watching tv until I drove him to class at 12:30.  Then, I just came home and hungout with Laura.  We played on our computers and she told me about her exciting Wednesday night ;)  When Lindsey got home we went to the mall and just walked around.  None of us bought anything, but it was fun to get out and do something. Laura got a haircut and the beautician fell in love with us, but I mean, come on who wouldn't?  Ha ha.

After the mall, we went to a pet store and looked at puppies that we couldn't afford :(  I don't know why we do that to ourselves, but we do it all the time.  Then, we went to McDonalds and rented a movie from the Red Box.  And they were out of sweet tea!! Lindsey and I were not happy!!! >:-O  Lindsey and I came home and took naps and Laura probably did too, we're a lazy bunch.  Ha ha.  Speaking of lazy, I skipped class so that I could do all of this.  Shh...  When we woke up at 6:30, we decided to go to Puerta's!!  The best Mexican restaurant in Muncie!!  We went in sweats and hoodies... ahhh I love us!! 

After dinner, we came back and Lindsey and I wanted to go to Laura's friend's house, but she is embarrassed of us.  So, Lindsey and I decided we would jump into Laura's car when she was on her way to the "party."  After standing outside for like 15 minutes, freezing our butts off, she finally walked outside.  We scared her, but she wouldn't let us in the car.  So, we followed her there. Ha ha.  She told us she wouldn't let us in the house. :(  So we drove to Starbucks for coffee.  Laura got back 30 minutes later and our friend Amanda arrived shortly after her.  So, we played Nerts, best card game EVER!!  I kicked their butts.

So this is where we are now.  I'm off to Patrick's and they are watching the movie, Game Plan.

So, as much as I am over college... I will miss days like this. :(

Trying Something New...

I wanted to start this at the beginning of the year to keep people updated on my *oh so interesting* life, but I got distracted... :P

So, yeah... my life has been going pretty well.  I am doing really well in school.  I got a 3.2 last semester.  For those of you who don't know, I am currently attending classes at Ivy Tech in Muncie.  I didn't do so hot at BSU, so they said bye bye.  I'm coming to terms with it.  Things happen for a reason and I have met a lot of great people in my Ivy Tech classes.  I'm taking culinary classes and I really enjoy them. :)

Patrick and I have been dating for almost a year now.  He's the greatest guy! :)  I can't imagine my life without him!!  We have talked about marriage and know that it's going to happen, he's just waiting on money for the ring!! :D  And I know that he's the one because we just clicked and we live so close.  I really love his family and my family loves him.  I could go on and on about him, but I'll spare you. :P

My roommates are AMAZING!!  I love living with them.  We have a blast.  These girls are definitely going to be with me for the rest of my life.  You know that saying... "We don't go to college to meet our husbands, but to find our bridesmaids."  I found them. :)

Well, I'm getting kind of restless.  I will update more later.
